Some things are so obvious in hindsight you wonder how the world forgot them. Beef tallow was the moisturiser of choice for virtually every culture on earth for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians used it. Frontier settlers swore by it. Your great-grandmother probably had a tin of it on her bathroom shelf.
Then, sometime in the mid-20th century, the skincare industry discovered that petroleum byproducts were cheaper to produce and had a longer shelf life. Tallow got quietly replaced — not because it stopped working, but because it wasn't profitable enough.
We started Primordial Skin because we got tired of reading ingredient labels that looked like chemistry homework. We wanted one ingredient. A good one. One that our skin would actually recognise.
This isn't a trend for us. It's a correction.
