We believe you should be able to read every ingredient on your skincare label without a chemistry degree. So here's ours.

**100% Grass-Fed Beef Tallow**

Rendered low-temperature from the fat of pasture-raised US cattle. Wet-rendered to preserve nutrients, then filtered until pure white and virtually odourless.

Why tallow? Because its fatty acid composition — primarily oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) — is structurally similar to the sebum your skin already produces. This means your skin absorbs it readily rather than treating it as a foreign substance to push back against.

Naturally present in grass-fed tallow:
— Vitamin A (retinol): supports cell turnover and collagen production
— Vitamin D: regulates skin cell growth and repair
— Vitamin E (tocopherol): antioxidant, protects against free radical damage
— Vitamin K2: supports elasticity and skin tone
— CLA: anti-inflammatory, supports barrier function

None of these are added. They are intrinsic to properly sourced and rendered tallow.

**What we don't use**

No parabens. No phenoxyethanol. No synthetic fragrance. No emulsifying wax. No petroleum derivatives. No fillers. No water (which requires preservatives to stabilise).

**Scented variants**

Our scented balms add only pure essential oils — nothing synthetic. Lavender + chamomile for sensitive skin. Frankincense for anti-aging support. Citrus mint for a fresh morning feel. The unscented balm contains tallow only.

**Sourcing**

All tallow is sourced from US-based farms operating under regenerative or pasture-raised standards. We do not use tallow from feedlot or grain-finished cattle.
